K2 InsertionRail 2.0 FixStop
Product details
The FixStop is what stops a K2 InsertionRail 2.0 wandering while a row is being built. It locates the insertion rail on the mounting rail beneath and holds that position, so the first module sets the line for everything after it.
It exists because the CrossConnector deliberately lets the rail slide – useful when squaring a row off, unhelpful once you want it to stay put.
FixStop or EndStop
Both are small, both are stops, and they do different jobs. The FixStop fixes the rail's position along the run. The EndStop closes the end of the rail so the last module cannot travel off it. A row generally takes both.

Questions on the FixStop
Position and quantity come from the K2 layout for the roof rather than a fixed rule.
The FixStop holds the rail's position along the run; the EndStop closes the end of it. Both are linked above.
No. The CrossConnector attaches the insertion rail to the mounting rail; the FixStop stops it moving once attached.
It is an InsertionRail 2.0 part, so check the rail on the roof before ordering.
