Wall Connector specs

Charger only, or with PEN fault protection?
Single
TES-WALLCONNECTOR-G3- Includes
- The Wall Connector
- For
- TT earth, an isolating transformer, or your own PEN device
Single with matt:e PEN fault unit
TES-WALLCONNECTOR-G3-PACK- Includes
- Wall Connector + matt:e SP-EVCP-T (white)
- For
- Single-phase PME homes, no earth rod
The Wall Connector detects residual current (Type A plus 6 mA DC), but that is not PEN fault protection. The matt:e option adds a single-phase connection unit with built-in PEN fault protection, so the charger can use the PME earth without an earth rod. For a 22 kW three-phase install, arrange a TT earth or other three-phase-rated protection, because the matt:e unit is single-phase only.
Built in
- Residual current detection, Type A + DC 6 mA
- Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) for app control and over-the-air updates
- Power sharing across several Wall Connectors on one supply
- Button on the connector that opens a Tesla charge port
- PEN fault protection (or pick the matt:e option), an isolating transformer or a TT earth
- An external circuit breaker, the means of disconnect
Complete the install
-
matt:e SP-EVCP PEN fault unit
Built-in PEN fault protection for connecting to a PME earth with no earth rod. Its listing limits it to single-phase supplies, so it suits the 7 kW install.
