Important
Please note that this inverter does not include a data logger, CT, meter or export power manager. The meter "SOL-METER-3PH-CT3" is needed for export power control of one inverter, for more than one inverter use the EPM3-5G-PLUS. The meter requires a data logging stick but EPM3-5G-PLUS has a built in data logger. These items are sold separately. SA: NRS097 certified but not City of Cape Town Approved.Top of the S5 GR3P range
The 20 kW is for commercial roofs and ground mounts that are too small for the S5 GC range but outgrow the 15 kW. It will run a 30 kW array.
Array and strings
There are two trackers, each taking two strings at a combined 32 A, 40 A short-circuit. Tracking runs from 160 V to 1,000 V and the input limit is 1,100 V. Sixty 500 W panels would make 30 kW, but four strings of fifteen need a cold-weather voltage check. A 28 kW layout of four strings of fourteen keeps more headroom.
