6 kW hybrid with 5 kW battery power
The largest RHI-48ES-5G (S5-EH1P6K-L) steps battery power up to 5 kW. That suits homes that want the battery to carry evening loads, or a bigger backup circuit. It is available here in packs of 3 and 10.
Battery and backup, sized up
The battery port runs 42–58 V, lithium-ion or lead-acid, at up to 100 A (5 kW) in either direction, with CAN to the BMS. Banks of 50–2,000 Ah are supported. When the grid fails, the backup port switches in under 20 ms and delivers 5 kW continuously, or 7 kVA for 10 seconds.
DNO requirement
Rated grid current is 26.1 A at 230 V, 30 A maximum, beyond the 16 A G98 limit, so the DNO approves first. G99 and G100 certificates for the S5 single-phase hybrids are in the Documents tab.
