Solis Series 6 is the latest generation of grid-tied residential inverters from Solis. This range of inverters are leaders in affordable small residential rooftop installations.
Product Features
NRS-097-2-1 Certified, pending CoCT approval.
Important
Please note that this inverter does not include a data logger or CT. For one inverter deployment, use CT "SOL-CT-100A-10M" For more than one inverter deployment, use EPM1 EPM1 or the CT requires a separate data logger. These items are sold separately. At the G98 ceiling
It connects the most a single-phase home can under G98, and handles panels on two roof faces.
Higher-voltage input stage
From 3.6 kW the S6 moves to a wider window: 90–520 V tracking, a 330 V rated voltage and 600 V maximum. The start-up point rises to 120 V. Each of the two trackers still takes one string at 14 A. Longer strings suit it, for example two strings of six 450 W panels for 5.4 kW, the recommended maximum.
What you get
- Integrated DC switch
- Export Power Manager in the inverter
- AFCI arc-fault protection, activation required
- Something for the EPM to measure with: a CT, or the separate EPM unit on long runs
- A data logger for SolisCloud
DNO
15.7 A rated at 230 V puts it just inside the 16 A single-phase limit. Any other generation on the same supply pushes the site into G99. The G100 certificate issued for SOL-3.6-S6-DT-DC is in the Documents tab.
Useful extras
-
Solis EPM 5G, single-phase
The supplier notes point to the EPM when the supply point is more than 10 m away. It controls up to 10 Solis inverters and takes a 5 A secondary CT, bought separately.
-
RF kit and stick
Radio link from the inverter to a kit at the router. Listed as compatible with all Solis inverters.
-
Warranty extension to 10 years
Covers S6 GR1PK models from 2.5 to 6.0 kW.

Before ordering
The 3.6 kW uses the higher-voltage stage: 120 V start and a 90–520 V window, where the 3 kW has 60 V and 50–450 V.
None. At 16 A maximum output it takes the whole single-phase G98 allowance.
Under 1 W. Its peak conversion efficiency is 97.3%.
Yes, 16 per pallet, or packs of 5 and 10. Every option is the S6-GR1P3.6K. The table shows the price per unit.
