The 1.5 kW Mini is the step up for a four- or five-panel roof. It keeps the small 7.4 kg case and single tracker of the smaller sizes.
Matching panels to it
Solis puts the ceiling at 2.3 kW of PV. That is five 450 W panels (2.25 kW) or four 500 W panels (2 kW) on one string. The single MPPT tracks between 50 V and 500 V, starts generating at 60 V, and accepts up to 14 A with a 22 A short-circuit limit. Absolute input maximum is 600 V.
